As Gisele celebrates her 20-year milestone in the fashion industry, this highly limited Art Edition offers the ultimate tribute to the woman lauded by American Vogue as “the return of the sexy model.” It combines a volume of spectacular images and intimate, personal insights with a dazzling signed print by Juergen Teller.
The print, derived from an ’80s-inspired shoot for W in 2005, epitomizes the gorgeous glamour that has seen Gisele on more than 1,000 covers around the globe, in approximately 450 fashion shows, and in multinational campaigns for the biggest fashion and beauty brands. The accompanying volume, curated and art directed by Giovanni Bianco, traces this rise to superstardom with more than 300 photographs from such industry luminaries as Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh, David LaChapelle, Juergen Teller, Inez & Vinoodh, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott and Corinne Day.
The image collection is accompanied by an introduction by Steven Meisel and tributes from Gisele’s friends, family, and collaborators, shedding light on how and why she has become one of the greatest models of all time.
